We chose Miami to get married in because it mirrors the spirit of where we come from—West Bengal, India and Jamaica. Both are former British colonies shaped by rich cultures, independence movements, and a deep connection to the sea. With its tropical weather, vibrant energy, and abundance of fresh fruit, it always felt like the perfect place to begin our next chapter—even before we matched here for residency. Now, it’s where our story continues to unfold, and we’re thrilled to welcome our loved ones to be part of it.
